Saddam, Iraq and the Political Scam

The race is on and as usual the Iraq war is a primary subject. While the D 's offer not much of a plan, the R's repeat the danger of pulling out. The D comments are unbelievable in a time of war, Kerry who is a poster child for the disdain the Liberal party holds toward the troops and/or war and made his bones again with the peace nik weirdos with in his party with his "stupid" remark. Of course some of the "moderate" D's were brought to the golden screen of talk shows to repudiate or defend his comments. They have been hiding the anti-war mongers the last couple of weeks, in case you haven't noticed. I don't see the Pelosi, Kennedy, sounds bites flooding the waves, if a talk show host in CA wouldn't have caught this tacky comment we wouldn't have known about this either. Why is that? Why aren't these bites of Teddy, Schumer, and Rangel getting blasted all over the air? Why are they hiding these people, the great savior leaders of the party? Instead they trampling on people like Rush, who isn't a politician, nor running for office, over his comment about Fox's ad. Or attacking Lynn Chaney, again not a politician nor running for office, over her book. And they call the R's lame for commenting on Kerry's remark? It was a legitimate gaffe on Kerry's part, and deserved an apology, although "the real man" Kerry won't give one. The man who can always find a camera to hatchet George Bush can't find one to apologize to the very people who are protecting his lily white liberal A--? Give me a break.

As I watched this documentary last on night on National Geographic Channel, (I wish they would have advertised this more) on Saddam Hussein, I shuttered when I thought of Ted Kennedy's remark of how the Iraqis were in better shape with Saddam in power. Makes feel like doing a little torturing myself.

It was brutal, it's like you know it, and see glimpses over the years but a report like this made it all too real. When I think of how a Democrat congress couldn't even get a sanction against him drawn up to get to the UN in 88(?) was shocking. I remember it was a real negative for Bush 41 that he didn't finish off Saddam, but of course the UN didn't agree to that. So here we are 15 years later, and the problem is worse. Clinton did nothing! I know he "tried" but he failed. He "tried" with N. Korea but he failed, and now we are told the Democrats can do better? How? Reigniting the same failed policies as before? Amazing people are screaming about the "innocent Iraqi's" that are dying, that is sad, but why weren't you screaming when Saddam was killing them, maiming them and so forth? Rather to die at the hands of that monster than die in a fight for peace? I don't think so. I also doubt some of the "innocent" death tolls, civilians aren't always civilians there as should have been noted by the Hezbollah/Israel reports.
Here are the plans we hear:
Deploy to somewhere outside the region, be close incase we are needed! We are needed now! That plan sounds bad.
Plan: Split into 3 parts, sounds good on the surface, but think deeply about that. Worked well with Palestine and Israel didn't it? 60 years they are still fighting about who should get which piece of land. So that's it, yank those Sunni's out of there home land and move them to their area. Yank the Shiite from their homes and put them in their area. Sounds like a real winner doesn't it?

Think in our terms, move all the Democrats from Texas who are upsetting the majority Repubs, and move them to say CA. then take the Repubs that irritate the hell out of the Dems in CA and move them to Texas. How does that sound? No way. People would be furious! This is a bad plan as well.
The real solution is keep slugging it out. Iraq is not a microwave dinner. You don't push a button and when the timer goes off your done! That's insane! This Gov't has not even had a full year to work on this whole country and the critics expect miracles. That's a lot of guts from a group of people that can't even figure out that we already have a law on our books to enforce immigration, but they can't figure out how to stop it? Or how to revise it? I thought these were brilliant guys?
They say Bush didn't study the history or the consequences that may result if we invade Iraq, but actually history shows that when we aiding the Iraqi's in the Gulf war that the people stood up against him. They tried to protest and rose against 'Sadistic leader' But that time nobody showed up to help them. So the idea that they would stand up for themselves is a legitimate estimate. The difference is they are up against an evil group of satanic killers. They are vile and blood thirsty for their power, harder to fight than any regime.
Get a grip folks, these people are dangerous. The pullout there as PROVED in Lebanon; where Hezbollah claimed victory when there was nothing but a cease fire. The same rhetoric would be taunted in Iraq, and then we will be worse shape than France, because the riots will begin, and fighting in the streets will be OUR streets.
My question: Peace niks, who will fight for you? Will you fight back? Will you call on the military? Will you call for a sit in, or protest with goofy costumes and hope to sway them. Hell no, you will be whining in the streets and screaming for an intervention by the "stupid" disdained military.
Don't fall for the lies folks, the moderate "Jesus loving" democrats that are out on your screen this last couple of weeks is not the real party. I'm not against moderate Democrats, but it is disingenuous to say the least because they are not the heart of the party. Like Herald Ford, who seems like a nice person, has been out there touting his Christian Carrying card, just a bit too much. I'm Not doubting HIS personal commitment, but watching him last night, he appeared to be READING a script on Hannity & Combs, that bothered me. Let's put it this way, when a Republican makes those kinds of religious related comments they are considered anathema to the Dems. Right wing nut jobs. I'm just saying the face of the party out on the shows is not the real face of the leaders who will destroy all the progress in this country.
Who has told us the Iraq war is not going well? Not the Iraqi's, not the Military over there, nope the media of doom & gloom and the democrats. Who told us we have lost too many to make it worth it?
Who told us we creating terrorist?
The Osama told us, Iraq is the hot spot, we will wear down and leave, we are weak. Are we going to give Osama what he wants?
I am upset about several things with the R party, but not upset enough to throw my country away. I hope you aren't either. Kerry should be a reminder.

The Republicans don’t deserve to win?
I have been hearing quite a bit of noise about how bad the Republicans are doing and how the Democrats will win the Congress.
One of the things that bother me most is the idea of “The Republicans don’t deserve to win.” I agree maybe SOME of them don’t, but do we the citizens deserve to lose? Are the republican voters going to run to ‘group think’ like the democrats have done for all these years? Let’s hope not.
The last punishment vote we had brought us Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Janet Reno and Madeline Albright!! This has ultimately brought us to where we are today, in most areas- Crime, Unjust Justice, War, ACLU run School system and mandates on our lives at an all time high. Good God folks think about what you are saying?
Let me throw something out to you disgruntled voters who put these people in office?
Who gets punished if they lose? WE DO! YOU DO! The American people who are upset the Republicans aren’t pushing things through hard enough, or comprise too much, WE get hurt.
I feel your pain, believe me I am in suburb of Houston, TX and I turn purple when I think about the Border, and hear the McCain/Kennedy BS. I want to scream!
Some of the Republicans are more like Democrats, I agree, but you throw them out in the Primary’s you don’t put a Democrat in their place. If you do; EVERYTHING you are wanting for the country will be totally opposite of what you want.
Not to mention the GOOD R’s will have a harder time yet trying to get anything done.
Let me throw this out as well, what we need is not less republicans but less democrats! The Democrat leaders are determined to impose their liberal group think on us and therefore they thwart and demonize any plan of the republicans to straighten out the messes. So after hours of twisted talking points and Sunday talk shows they badger these guys to compromises so we still lose some but not the whole thing. If they are in control we lose the whole thing.
What you need to do is badger your Representatives louder than main stream media and the democrats do. We have to be louder than the Beltway!
Republicans have been called the ‘war mongers’ well you can’t tell that now! Where is the warrior spirit?
Rush coined the phrase ‘cut & run republicans’, which is the point exactly. I wish we had more Republicans in the Congress like Sessions, Santorum, Tancredo or King but giving them more democrats to work with won’t solve your disgruntlements.
Sometimes you just have to hold your nose and pull the lever. Then immediately start looking for people to replace them but don’t just throw in the towel. Democrats held the Congress for 40+ years and some of them have been there practically the whole time. You expect the Republicans to undo everything in 12 years? You want to throw out 20 years worth of work for a 2 year disappointment? That says a lot more about you then it does them. How can you dare tell them to fight this in staunched socialist movement if you won’t fight it yourself?
We are not just in war-time with the Islamic-fascist that what to make us bow to Allah, we are at war with-in our own Government. The Democrat party of old is no longer the “balancing” party they are the “Unbalanced” party.

They have put so many handcuffs on American business, schools, and personal choices that they are strangling are freedom as a whole. They claim to be the party of choice, but it is as deceptive as Osama being a leader of peace. You have to read between the lines and decipher the code, if you will.
Their claim of Choice means their choice only not real choice. Some of the satirical videos of Absurd Times.USA point out the real hidden issues. More are in the works and you need to check them out.
But this is no laughing matter. If our Fore Fathers had all had the same attitude we wouldn’t even have this Constitution to quibble over, we would be run by the Queen and at the least be speaking German. I am particularly surprised at some of the so-called Religious Right leaders, are you really more concerned about the image of a few in congress than you are about your own religious freedom?
Better get real folks, this is not about a couple of ill-willed congressmen; this is about a world view. You are either embracing Europe’s failed policies like the Democrats or recapturing the true American spirit. For our future’s sake I hope you pick the American spirit.

Houston Officer killed during routine traffic stop. Culprit? Illegal mexican with a record a mile long, including indecency with a child!
This has got to stop folks. When one our most decorated gets his life snuffed by this kind of river sludge, the "they are just coming to work" line just doesn't even get close. We are mad as hell. This man had 5 children and a wife is a 'special ops' officer.
Shut the border and deport ANYONE found. Let them worry about their families like we have to, I am done.

At least one female passenger left, possibly with Johnson's permission, but Police Chief Harold Hurtt said he thought officers had found the woman and were bringing her to headquarters for questioning.

Is Chavez campaigning for the democrat party?

I didn’t know you could bring presidents from another country over to campaign your issues, did McCain miss that one in his restraining campaign reform? Chavez with all his bluster and silliness seems to be echoing what the majority of the democrat party seems to be saying. Of course they haven’t call Bush the devil per se’, they just call him Imperialist, Hitler and such. The democrats have been saying they want to connect with the “religious” people in the country maybe they should use the biblical term Chavez uses “the devil”.
I must say in spite of it all, Pelosi gets happy face sticker J for calling him a thug. Rangel on the other hand seemed a bit more upset that Hugo was upstaging his socialist dependent policy’s by helping more people than our oil company’s are. Ok, fine, but he did stand up and say not to insult “his President” in our country and for that he was right on, so a happy face sticker for him too. J
But, Charlie the idea that OUR energy companies should do more of the same, you must remember we have PRIVATE companies, not state run. Surely Charlie isn’t wishing for state run? But our energy companies reduce billions of people’s bills every month! They all have some kind of programs to assist the elderly or poverty inflicted souls. As far as heating oil goes, I just want to say – update for god sake, this is the 21st century why do you people still use heating oil???
As far as Chavez and A –mad -jihad goes, I think they ought fix their own messes before they come over here and criticize ours. All the dictators of the UN giving them applause are just spiteful little despots with falling apart countries. They are mainly riddled with poverty, disease and social structures that are far worse than ours. They come and meet with us beg for our money and then stab us in the back at every turn.
Kofi Annan going to Iran to talk to jihad man BEFORE the sanction deadline was unconceivable in my opinion, I figure he went over to get his payoff, jihad man says he told him not to worry about the sanctions. That leaves us in a great place, which liar do you believe? Kofi should have been thrown out about the oil for food and now this, he can’t leave quick enough.

Mavericks stampede Bush!!

Big hubbub today as headlines trump "Senate Republicans against Bush", oh my gosh the mavericks. Let's see 3 ending up 4 out of 55? Not exactly a "great push-back"!
Of course the REAL BAD thing is Colin Powell came out against him. Now I used to like Powell but before he was removed he showed his liberal bent in my opinion, and he sure hasn't done the tough job Condi Rice has done. Nonetheless, this cracks me up:

Honest and Open Party?

According to the Democrat Website they actually are writing out a plan!
When I went to the site to check on the comments Clinton had said about "shutting down" the Path to 9-11; this is the one that caught my eye:

Is Texas getting Kinky?
It may well be the first time in decades that Texans elect an Independent for Governor. Kinky is all the buzz around Texas politics. First starting out seeming as kind of a 'good ole boy' that was meant to wake up the status quo, may have just turned in to a REAL viable option for Texans who are fed up with politics as usual.
The Kinster as he is further nicknamed has a slogan- "why the hell not". Certainly out of the norm of the stuff shirts with all the PC talk- Kinky is noted for his black western attire, big cigar and humorous answers.

Corruption and big money have such a chokehold that the two major parties blew $100 million in the last governor's race to elect a candidate to a job that pays
$100,000 a year. And for all that money spent, less than 30% of us bothered to
show up at the polls.

Why? Because it's hard to stand in line at
the ballot box when neither candidate promises anything more than politics as
usual. Texans are the most independent people in America, and if we're going to
be inspired, the inspiration will come from someone unafraid to deal in new
ideas and honest answers, an independent leader who lets the people call the
plays instead of dancing to the tune of the money men.

All though many won't agree with all his policies, left or right; they may grab hold of the spirit he portrays. He has done something politicians have stepped way far away from this last couple of decades- he talks TO THE PEOPLE. :) Voters aren't stupid, even if they make stupid choices sometimes, but they ARE PEOPLE!!!!
The parties are so plugged into polls and pundits who reflect their view they seldom have a real clue of what the people care about. So instead of building a platform of platitudes, he has built his platform on what the people have told him matters most. What a novel idea. There are several issues that Texans have been boiling about for several years now; immigration, property taxes and the Trans Texas corridor and all we get is the boot from Austin. The boot may be on the other foot after this election.
Never thought I'd say this, but hats off to you Kinky. :)
